Zoo Corporation
Zoo is a developer of Japanese database management
software and has been localizing and publishing foreign
PC game software since 1993. Following the release of
Zoo's PC game "The Wall" in 1993, it was then
released in North America as "BreakThru!"
by Spectrum Holobyte Inc. Since then Zoo has published
the localized versions of several foreign PC software

April 2003 - Zoo Corporation has developed several
titles for Java equipped mobile telephones in the Japanese
market. Zoo's mobile game offerings include "Baxa",
the dropping block game pictured at right, as well as
Mah-jong and other card games. All games run on the
Japanese Java application equipped iMode, AU, and Jphone
cellular phones. With the advent of 3G and Japanese
mobile phones that support QVGA (320x240), the games
will only get faster and better.
