Corporate Info

Zoo Corporation is a developer of Japanese database management software and has been localizing and publishing foreign PC game software in Japan since 1993.

Following the release of Zoo's PC game "The Wall" in 1993, it was was released in North America as "BreakThru!" by Spectrum Holobyte Inc. Since then Zoo has published the localized versions of several foreign PC game titles in Japan. For a complete list, please visit our Game Software page.
Zoo is located in Ueda, Nagano prefecture Japan. Located nearby is the historical hot springs town of Bessho and the Chikuma river - the longest river in Japan. Ueda city is surrounded by rolling green hills and on a clear day you can see the Japanese Alps. The 1998 Winter Olympics were held here in Nagano prefecture. Ueda is about 80 minutes west of Tokyo on the "Shinkansen" bullet train. Zoo Headquarters

In April 1996 ZOO became one of the first Internet Service Providers for the greater Ueda area in Nagano. Zoo is also active in Intranet systems and web site development as well as several multimedia projects with local municipalities.
